The apartments are situated in the mountain village Muhlbach am Hoch König (Salzburg).
The residence Alpendomizil is situated on the “Mandelwandstrasse” just over 1 km from the centre of the town.
When you are coming from Bischofshofen you must take the first right-hand turn in Muhlbach, direction “Arthurhaus/ Hochkeil”.
When you are coming from Maria Alm/Dienten/Hintertal you drive through the village and when you have passed “Backerei Bauer” you take the the first left-hand turn, direction “Arthurhaus/ Hochkeil”.
On the way up you’ll pass a football pitch (on the right-side), after the football pitch you take the first road to the left (app. 20 m before the busstop)
The apartments are situated in the first (left) building (when you are on the carpark).
In the building is an elevator, but it takes only 6 stairsteps to reach the apartment Inge
It’s just a two minute walk to the busstop.
The timetable may vary during the seasons, the timetable is listed on a tablet at the busstop.
From this busstop you can reach both skiing-areas (Karbach Alm and Hochkeil), each appr. 6 min. ride.
You can also travel by bus to Muhlbach. Bischofshofen has a trainstation, the bus will bring you directly from Bischofshofen to Alpendomizil (direction Athurhaus/ Hochkeil; stop at Alpendomizil). You can travel very good form abroad to Bischofshofen by train or by plain. The city Salzburg as an international airfield. From the airport you can travel to Bischofshofen/Muhlbach by train/bus or taxi.
Muhlbach hat various restaurants and in the centre of the village are the necessary shops like: Bank, Spar, Backerei Bauer, Ski school, sportshops, chemist’s, bars, apres-skibars and Tourist Information Office.
Bischofshofen is very near (app. 8 min) and this (bigger) village has a regional function.
There you’ll find more shops like: Spar, Liddl, Merkur, Takko, Penny, LutzXXL, Baumarkten, …. and many other different shops/restaurants in the centre of village.
Bischofshofen is also well known for ski-jumpig.
Every year the finaly of “vier schanze Tournee” takes place in Bischofshofen (6th of jan.)
The other villages of “vier schanze Tournee” are Oberstdorf, Innsbruck and Garmisch Partenkirchen (Garmisch at 1st of Jan.)
Hoch König is part of Ski-Amadé, this means that your skiing-card is valid throughout entire Ski-Amadé.
